Migrating from Silverlight Streaming to Windows Azure
We announced some time ago that the Silverlight Streaming service was to be discontinued and an alternative Windows Azure-based service would be available. David Sayed has created a series of posts that detail how to setup and publish video content to Windows Azure as well as how to retrieve existing content from the Silverlight Streaming service.
  1. Provisioning Windows Azure
  2. Setting up Windows Azure for video storage
  3. Creating and publishing a video in a Silverlight player to a Windows Azure storage account (using Expression Encoder 3)
  4. Embedding a published video in a blog (using Windows Live Writer)
  5. How to retrieve content that is stored on Silverlight Live Streaming
