I caught up with Simon Sabin (@simon_sabin), organiser of the SQL Bits conference, at DDD8 (a community organised developer event held at the Microsoft Campus in Reading) to ask him about Object Relational Mapping (ORMs) from both a developer and a DBA�s perspective.
Are developers to be trusted with a loaded gun? Or should DBAs just chill-out a bit?
